Your best bet when your costume has a design that’s on a large scale. (For example Da Qiao’s flower in DW7) DONT PAINT IT. Take the time to make a pattern and use fabric. Yeah it’ll take some time but the results will look better. (And you can always paint details onto that, if you wanted.)
